Here is all the information you will need to enter the competition.
First read all the rules. It’s very important that you’re familiar with the requirements so that there is no confusion later.
Next, fill out your entry form, uploading your story in PDF format. (NOTE: the entry form will be available at the start of the competition on 1 December 2020.)
Be sure that there is nothing in the document itself that identifies you (e.g., your name or email address) as your story will be judged anonymously. Please put your name and story title in the file name itself, as that helps us manage the entries, but when we send these stories on to the judges, all they will see will be the story title. The identity of each writer will be top secret, with only one member of the Organizing Committee knowing who wrote which story until after the judges have made their final decision!
Finally, pay your entry fee. A link to pay your entry fee will be available on the entry form. Entrants under 18 years of age may enter for free, with proof of age.
Thanks to the generosity of the US Embassy in Paris and the US Consul in Strasbourg, entries in the junior categories (native and non-native under 18 years) will be free of charge.
